Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using LandmarkGo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use LandmarkGo. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not create accounts using automated methods, or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• You may not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

LandmarkGo is a location-based exploration game. You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws.

You agree NOT to:

• Falsify or spoof your GPS location to fraudulently check in at landmarks or Local Favourites.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the App.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities to gain unfair advantages. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to us.
• Upload photos or content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or violates the rights of any third party.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App.

When you upload photos or other content ("User Content"), you:

• Retain ownership of your content.
• Grant LandmarkGo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use your content to operate the App.
• Confirm that you have the right to share the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

The App features "Local Favourites" — venues such as cafes, restaurants, and shops that you can discover and check into alongside landmarks. Check-ins at Local Favourites award points. We do not endorse any featured venue, and your interactions with those venues are solely between you and the venue.

Points, levels, badges, and leaderboard rankings are in-app rewards with no monetary value. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or remove points and rankings at any time, including to correct errors or address violations of these Terms. Points and rankings are non-transferable.

All content in the App not provided by users — including the name "LandmarkGo", logos, design, code, and gameplay — is the property of LandmarkGo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any of it without our written permission.

• No warranty: The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• Accuracy: Landmark information is sourced from community contributions and public data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any landmark information.
• Safety: Always be aware of your surroundings when exploring landmarks. LandmarkGo is not responsible for any injury, accident, or damage that occurs while you use the App.
• Third-party services: The App relies on third-party services (mapping, authentication, etc.). We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of those services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LandmarkGo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
